Donations $10 or greater will receive a tax receipt. For e-transfer, cash & check donations a receipt is made out by the St. George Animal Shelter and sent monthly. Please ensure all donations are accompanied by your full legal name, address, phone number & email.

Paypal Giving Fund

PayPal Giving Fund charges no fees to our charity, we receive 100% of the Donations. Note: Your tax receipt will come from the PayPal Giving Fund immediately.

Email Transfer (Interac)

Log into your online banking, find transfers, & look for e-transfer. Add St. George Animal Shelter as a new e-transfer contact. Enter our email, enter the amount being donated & hit send. We are set up for auto-deposit, no need for a security question & answer.

Cash or Cheque Donations

Cash donations may be dropped off at the St George Veterinary Clinic, 8 Portage St., St. George, NB E5C 3L4. Cheques can be made out to St. George Animal Shelter and then dropped off at or mailed to the address above.

This form of donation has a bonus, the opportunity for the shelter to win extra money on top of what you donate.

Every one-off donation (min $20) also gets our shelter 20 votes toward winning $500-$3000 dollars, this competition is held several times a year. To win this money our shelter has to be in the top #60 and the higher we are, the more money we win!

There is also a monthly donation option which has the extra bonus of putting us on the featured charity list 2000 or more times.

Finally, you can choose to just vote and skip donating (if you are unable), and SHARE, SHARE, SHARE. Your vote & those of the people you share with will help us have a chance at the winnings. Just don’t forget to go back and vote every week even if not donating, those votes have earned us several thousand dollars in the past.

Charlotte County Can & Bottle has graciously partnered with us to help us to bring in funds on a regular basis to alleviate our operational costs. Located on Progress Dr, St. Stephen, NB

Simply advise the staff that you want your recycling to go to the St. George Animal Shelter. They will keep a running total and give us the amount that has been donated. This money will help to cover our operating costs which are mainly veterinary bills for these animals. These monthly bills at the vet usually run between $3800-$9200 depending on the number of animals given basic medical care, spay/neuter, medications, prescription diets, and other surgeries.

Sponsor A Cat

Would you like to help out regularly but are too pressed for time to volunteer? Well, we have the solution for you, become a cat sponsor! Your monthly donation will go to paying for the costs of medical and maintenance care of a cat while in foster care. Once your first monthly payment is received we will assign a foster cat to you and make a post on our Facebook page.

When your “foster” is adopted and you are still sending in sponsorship payments, we will assign a new foster and make a new post on the Facebook Page. At the end of the year, we will do a feature post showing all the cats you help throughout the year (unless you wish to remain anonymous).
