Fostering Makes a Difference
We are so thankful to the wonderful foster homes and the difference they have made in the over 700 cats they have fostered.
As we continue to fundraise for our building, we continue to be in need of foster homes to help house the homeless cats that will be going through our shelter program before getting adopted out into their forever homes. By providing a room/space in your home, you are helping us take on more homeless animals in need – Thank you!

Foster homes :
- Provides a safe and social environment
- Addresses medical and behavioural issues which may have caused animal to be surrendered
- Increases chance of getting adopted

SGAS supports its foster homes in a number of ways
- SGAS provides food, supplies, vet care and medicine
- SGAS has a "facebook group" dedicated for the Foster Group to share and support each other.
- SGAS also has a foster home coordinator to provide guidance and support to our foster homes
